What the single origin plan sends
The single origin plan is a single origin coffee subscription: every 2 or 4 weeks, a 12 oz bag of coffee from one farm or region, roasted to order by a different independent Washington State roaster. It costs $16.99 a bag like every style. First bag free, you pay $7.99 shipping.
A single origin tastes of its place. A blend is the roaster's house mix, built to taste the same cup to cup. If you want to taste where a coffee comes from, single origin is the style to pick.
How Washington roasters buy their single origins
Several roasters here publish how they buy. Olympia Coffee says it buys directly from farmers in nine countries across East Africa, Central America and South America, and publishes transparency reports. Kuma in Seattle buys directly whenever it can, has sourced from Colombia for about five years through the exporter Azahar, and says it often buys a farmer's entire crop for the season. Zoka calls its approach Family Direct Trade and works with the same growers year after year. Fidalgo in Burlington buys the entire harvest of Finca Alta Mira in Honduras, a farm run by the Skagit County nonprofit Tierra Nueva.

These local favorites sell single origins on their own shops, checked September 27, 2026. Coffees on sale change with the harvest. A listing does not mean a roaster is part of the club.

Set up a single origin box
In the plan builder, pick Single origin as the style and a roast level. Light roast shows the fruit and florals of a place most clearly; medium brings chocolate and caramel forward. Make a second bag a blend for the person in the house who wants the same cup every morning.

Does single origin cost more?
No. Single origin is $16.99 a bag, the same as a blend, espresso or decaf.
What is the difference between single origin and a blend?
A single origin comes from one farm or region and tastes of that place. A blend is the roaster's house mix, made to taste steady cup to cup.
Can I choose the country?
No. Each roaster picks from their own single origins, so the origin changes box to box.

A different independent Washington roaster each box. We do not promise a specific roaster.
