Their story
This small family business started roasting in Kent in 2010, after a year of family meetings at South King County coffee shops where the coffee kept falling short. Matt, who runs the roaster, had spent about ten years in coffee as a barista, roaster, trainer and manager before the company opened. Its main machine is a 15 kilo roaster built in Turkey, a change for Matt, who had learned the craft on a Diedrich.
The look is loud and 1980s themed on purpose. Blend names come from Matt's childhood, the company name came to him in a dream, and his brother drew the logo. All roasting happens at its Kent Valley headquarters, which also hosts tastings, custom tasting events and a yearly holiday party. Beans are roasted slowly for a fuller body, and the team tries to ship within a week of roasting. Even dark roasts like Carmen Sandiego and Aviator aim for a clean finish.
What they roast
House blends include El Guapo, Members Only, Danger Zone, Truffle Shuffle and Godfather's Blend. Single origins on the list when we checked: Sumatra. Espresso: Flaming Geyser Espresso (Full-City, medium-dark). A decaf is on the list. Offerings change with the seasons, so this is what their own pages listed on 2026-09-28.

The roastery sits at the back of OP Business Park in Kent, with drop-in hours and a public tasting on the third Saturday of each month.
