Their story
Its owner spent two decades designing brands and building websites, then decided not to go back to tech after a layoff and opened a roastery in North Bend. Time spent fly fishing and a few years of living and traveling in a camper van shaped the outdoor theme that runs through the brand. Coffee is roasted to order in small batches, and the company says it buys green coffee from farmers and co-ops that trade openly and fairly.
Blends carry names such as Cinder Beast, Hell Bear and Bourbon Cream, plus a Twin Peaks tribute called Damn Fine Coffee and a decaf named Buzz Kill. Single origins on the menu include Guatemala Huehuetenango, a natural processed Brazil Cerrado and a honey processed coffee from Tarrazu.
