Their story
Army veteran Jonathan Nalywaiko started the company, and his family runs it as a small batch roastery. Jonathan, his wife and their daughters spend much of their free time exploring the Pacific Northwest, and the family says small batches let it fine-tune each roast. Along with coffee, the shop pours and sells its own candles and takes bookings for catered coffee at events.
The cafe carries Chemex and other brewing brands, and the owners say they hope to add coffee classes and workshops. Online orders can be shipped in a degassing tin, an option picked at checkout to keep the beans fresh longer. Bags on the current list include a light Peru, medium Brazil and Guatemala, a dark Colombia, a Timor and the All Nighter blend of Brazil and Honduras.
