Keebler Coffee Roasters is one of the beloved local roasters we follow in Washington: an independent roaster based in Longview. Here is what their own pages and public sources say about them, in our words.
Their story
The team has worked in coffee since 2000 and roasts single origins to bring out each one's tasting notes. Owners Matt and Amy say they spent most of their lives working in coffee before taking on roasting themselves. Besides selling beans, the Longview shop rents out space for events and offers beverage service for gatherings.
Everyday origins such as Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and Papua New Guinea sit next to less common lots, including a tamarind co-fermented coffee and an Ethiopia Worka sold in 10 ounce bags. There are also two blends, Stella and the darker Dark Skies, a Swiss Water decaf from Honduras and a coffee subscription.
What they roast
Roast levels run Dark Skies [Dark Roast]. House blends include Stella Blend. Single origins on the list when we checked: Tamarind co-ferment, Ethiopia Worka, Papua New Guinea, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico. Decaf: DECAF Honduras (Swiss Water Process).
