Their story
Husband and wife Ben and Anita started the business after more than a decade in coffee, and their Doberman, Azula, signs the story too. It operates as a drive-thru roastery, pairing coffee roasted on site with baked goods not found elsewhere in town. Its shop espresso is a single origin Guatemala, picked because it pairs well with dairy and alternative milks.
The Smog blend, a house favorite, mixes South American and African coffees and is pitched for filter, cold brew and bright espresso. Cafes, offices and shops can ask about carrying its coffee wholesale, and the contact page also invites job inquiries. The drive-thru menu reaches past coffee to kids' drinks and milkshakes in flavors such as cotton candy, cookie monster and birthday cake.

House blends include MillTown, Smog and Recliner (dark roast). Single origins on the list when we checked: Brazil Ipe Amarelo, Guatemala and Columbia.
