Victor's Celtic Coffee is one of the beloved local roasters we follow in Washington: an independent roaster based in Redmond, founded in 1989. Here is what their own pages and public sources say about them, in our words.
Their story
The Redmond cafe dates to 1989 and roasts small batches in house, with roasting done every Friday. Its old brick building has a fireplace, and the decor mixes Celtic touches with a modern cafe. The owners describe it as a small family business, and they say they buy only beans graded in the top tenth of world production, organically grown and Fair Trade certified.
Because roasting happens every week at the Redmond site, it says a bag is at most two weeks past roasting when it reaches a buyer, and most go out in their roast week. Besides the house espresso blend, the menu lists Monka, Java Jane, Italian and French roasts, seven single origins and three decafs.

House blends include Victors Espresso Blend, Monka, Java Jane, Redmond Slough, Italian and French Roast. Single origins on the list when we checked: Brazillian, Costa Rican, Dark Columbian, Dark Guatemalen, Ethiopian, Mexican and Sumatran. Espresso: Victors Espresso Blend.
