Their story

The family imports green coffee from relatives in Ethiopia and roasts it locally in small batches. Mulugeta Ayele, a cousin, farms 13 hectares in Ethiopia; in 2023 his beans placed among the country's 150 top producers. Every coffee it sells is the same Grade 1 natural Guji from Ethiopia, offered in light, medium-light, medium-dark and espresso roasts.

Subscriptions take 10% off the price, shipping is free on orders of $50 or more, and the shop's tagline is Drink From The Source. The family credits Mulugeta Ayele's sustainable farming with lifting both his own business and the standing of Ethiopian coffee abroad.
