Their story
Each bean variety is roasted on its own and then combined into the blends, which the company describes as full city to full city plus. Its Pike Place Market cafe is upstairs in the Corner Market building, at the corner of First Avenue and Pike Street. New-crop coffees are chosen by blind cupping each season, and bags ship right after roasting.
The signature Prologue blend is a medium-dark mix of beans from Ethiopia, Brazil and India, with Epilogue as its Swiss Water decaf partner.

Visitors can book a guided tour and tasting at the Bainbridge Island roasting studio. A third cafe at First and Madison, at the base of the Alexis Hotel downtown, is temporarily closed and slated to reopen in fall 2026. The Bainbridge tasting room on Coppertop Loop serves house cinnamon rolls and Esther Mae's Granola, and offers cuppings that compare single origins with the finished blend. Beyond bagged beans, it sells coffee pods, espresso capsules, granola and a Freedom I home brewing kit.
