Their story
The site calls Second Love a specialty micro roaster based in Des Moines, Washington. Wholesale partners such as cafes, restaurants, offices, schools and caterers get coffee, staff education, menu help and equipment support through partner companies. Its decaf comes from the Black Condor Project in Gaitania, Tolima, started in 2016 by a farmer named Emmanuel to give 15 villages a shared processing center.
Product listings name the importer and an FOB price for each coffee; the Darling Blend, for instance, came through Forest Importers and San Cristo Cafe. A Roaster's Choice subscription ships a different 10 ounce bag every other week or monthly, avoiding repeats.
What they roast
House blends include Darling Blend (rotating South American and African blend). Single origins on the list when we checked: Colombia Black Condor and Colombia El Vergel Estate. Where to drink it
The online menu takes orders for espresso drinks, pastries and food, and the site lists hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday through Saturday.
