Rockabilly Roasting Co. is one of the beloved local roasters we follow in Washington: an independent roaster based in Kennewick, founded in 2014. Here is what their own pages and public sources say about them, in our words.
Their story
Established in 2014, it roasts on a drum roaster inside its West Kennewick Avenue shop. Each bag is roasted to order and shipped the same week, with no warehouse in between. Coffee names borrow from hot rod and rockabilly culture: 2-Stroke mixes Colombian and Brazilian beans, while Chop Top is an Ethiopian lot with raisin and dark chocolate notes.
Subscribers to its Daily Grind plan get 10 percent off each bag and choose a delivery interval anywhere from weekly to once every three months. On the website, a six-question quiz sorts drinkers into roast personalities, such as the dark roast Greaser or the light roast Firecracker, and points each one to a bag.
What they roast
Roast levels run Medium-Dark. House blends include Rev It Up, 2-Stroke, Chop Top, Bike Blend, Cloud 9 and Cascadia. Single origins on the list when we checked: Ethiopia and Guatemala. Offerings change with the seasons, so this is what their own pages listed on 2026-09-28.
Where to drink it
The cafe on West Kennewick Avenue is open Monday through Saturday, staying until 4 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and is closed Sundays.
