Their story
The company presents itself as a Scandinavian-inspired coffee house built around the Danish idea of hygge, pairing coffee with tea, wine and food. Its team sources a small number of lots each week, some straight from producers and some through importers, and works with several farms. According to the company, barista Noel Goodwin placed fourth for the company in the finals of the 2025 U.S. Barista Championship, held in Raleigh.
It describes itself as a Seattle micro-roastery with Scandinavian roots that hand-roasts coffee for homes and cafes. Roasting mixes data and tasting: the team logs and analyzes results, cups constantly and tries different profiles to bring out each coffee's character.

House blends include Lux Blend and Lux Espresso Blend.
