Baker Creek Coffee is one of the beloved local roasters we follow in Washington: an independent roaster based in Brush Prairie. Here is what their own pages and public sources say about them, in our words.
Their story
The stated aim is consistency: each small batch should taste the same, whether the customer picks a single origin or a blend. The owner says the business grew out of a personal hunt for a great cup, and that small batches keep the beans dry rather than oily, which is easier on home espresso machines. A brew guide matches each coffee to a method: Original for batch brew and AeroPress, Rwandan for French press and pour-over, and Swiss Water Decaf for Chemex.
The FAQ names a Jura as the owner's favorite home machine and credits the dry beans with keeping it free of oil buildup.
What they roast
House blends include Original. Single origins on the list when we checked: Rwandan. Espresso: Espresso Blend. Decaf: Swiss Water Decaf, also sold as an espresso decaf. Offerings change with the seasons, so this is what their own pages listed on 2026-09-28.
Where to drink it
The site lists hours of 9am to 7pm, Monday through Saturday.
Address
The roastery's street address is not published.
Why buying from Baker Creek Coffee matters here
Local customers can also pick up fresh bags at Rusty Glamour on East Main Street in Battle Ground.
Every bag bought from a Brush Prairie roaster pays roasting and cafe wages in Washington, and the coffee reaches you days after roasting instead of months. That is the reason the club exists. Why local roasters matter.
