Armistice Coffee is one of the beloved local roasters we follow in Washington: an independent roaster based in Seattle, founded in 2018. Here is what their own pages and public sources say about them, in our words.
Their story
Owner Rebecca started in coffee in 2009 and opened the first Armistice cafe in July 2018, roasting in the store so customers can watch. Since that first opening, she says, the business has grown to four locations serving Seattle neighborhoods. Local bakeries supply the pastries, picked to go with its blends and single origins.
Rebecca spent years at other coffee companies before going out on her own, saying she wanted the freedom to build a safe place for both staff and guests. Beans are sold whole or ground for drip, espresso or Turkish brewing.
What they roast
House blends include Precursor House Blend and Costa Rica Blend. Single origins on the list when we checked: Mexico La Yerba Women's Reserva. Decaf: Decaf Brazil. Offerings change with the seasons, so this is what their own pages listed on 2026-09-28.

Why buying from Armistice Coffee matters here
Its beans are poured at other area spots, including Leschi Market in Seattle and Sparrow in Kirkland. The site lists two cafes today, one on Eastlake Avenue East and one on Roosevelt Way Northeast. Other places pouring its coffee include Grappa in Seattle, Social Kamp House, Coffee Mind and HYE-LIFE Cafe and Bar, with further accounts in Bellevue and Kirkland.
