Their story

A coffee truck got the business started, and the truck is still booked for events. The NORA Coffeehouse opened in February 2021 and is the company's base. In April 2022 Justin and Keith from the company visited hillside farms around Matagalpa, Nicaragua to start buying from Gold Mountain Coffee Growers, with a second trip set for January 2023.

Coffees bought through those origin visits are sold as a Relationship Coffee line, and the company says growers should be paid fairly and treated with respect.

What they roast

House blends include NORA Espresso Blend. Single origins on the list when we checked: Colombia, Nicaragua, Kenya and Brazil. Espresso: NORA Espresso Blend. Decaf: Decaf Guatemala. Offerings change with the seasons, so this is what their own pages listed on 2026-09-28.

Why buying from Pilgrim Coffeehouse matters here

NORA is short for North Aurora, the Seattle neighborhood around the coffeehouse. Its motto says everyone is a pilgrim wherever they are headed, and that the trip goes better shared with friends over a cup.
