Naomi Joe Coffee is one of the beloved local roasters we follow in Washington: an independent roaster based in Tacoma. Here is what their own pages and public sources say about them, in our words.
Their story
Coffees are sold in tiers called Foundation, Incline, Summit and Paradise, and the roaster pitches flavors like grape candy and pink lemonade over light, medium or dark labels. Several Tacoma and Seattle shops carry or pour its coffee at times, including Third Space Tacoma. Its wholesale packs let cafes, offices, restaurants and shops order without filling out an application, and the range includes a medium-roast working coffee called Big Joe for everyday brewing.
Home roasters can buy unroasted beans from the same lots, such as La Joya, an anaerobic natural from Finca La Joya in Narino, Colombia. Roasting is done in-house at the cafe inside 7 Seas Brewing, a shared space where people come to work or meet friends. Alongside coffee, the online shop sells home espresso gear, with machines ranging up to a Lelit Bianca.

House blends include Everyday Joe, Disco Juice, Big Joe and Pineapple Crush. Single origins on the list when we checked: La Joya and Watermelon Gummy. Decaf: Zero Proof. Offerings change with the seasons, so this is what their own pages listed on 2026-09-28.
